East Barnet School is a co-educational comprehensive secondary school with approximately 1350 students, of whom 300 are in Years 12 and 13 (Sixth Form). The age range is 11 – 19. The school is structured through Year Groups, with 210 students per Year divided across eight Forms. Two Forms in each Year Group are designated to one of four school Houses, which bring together students from across all Year groups for fundraising activities and sporting competitions. Their Motto, “I want to learn”, reflects a belief that motivation is the most important factor for achieving success in education.
I used to attend East Barnet School, (starting in 2014 and ending in 2019) in Barnet. It was there that I started my pursuit of a media-related career. I became their audio and lighting technician just before the end of 2015 and progressed from there to make videos for them. From show production coverage to promotional videos.
