Don't Look Now is a short film about non-linear narrative, that I created in college. I was in a group of 3 and we had one lesson to plan the idea and 3 hours to film with 3 hours to edit.

The ‘5 shot rule’, this rule is applied to production during the making of a film. When filming a scene to make it more interesting there should be cuts to different camera angles and the 5 shot rule is that if shooting a scene, we should shoot it from 5 different angles.

The clone shot is used when the same actor plays different roles at the same time and so in Post-Production, there needs to be some magic. We achieved this effect by masking and very still camera work.

Another workshop we did we learned about manual focus and the effects that you can achieve with it! Manual Focus allows the camera operator to control what is in focus (what is not blurry).
